Injury 101 - IT Band Syndrome


You're a runner training for a marathon.  You have built up your endurance and just have a few more miles to go to be ready for the marathon that will honor your journey to health and wellness.  All of a sudden you begin to feel pain on the outside of your knee.  "Oh no! Not this! Not now when I am so close!"

IT Band syndrome, or Runner's Knee is a common "overuse" injury suffered by runners and bicyclists.  As part of my Injury 101 series here is more information about Runner's Knee and how massage therapy can assist.
